Case Study: Water Saver Sticks 💧

Solution: Bio-Energetic Water Saver Sticks

Pilot Project: Aperia, Singapore

WS-Sticks were selected innovation for CapitaLand Sustainability x Challenge 2021.

Pilot project was then conducted successfully from January to July 2022 at Aperia, a CapitaLand property in Singapore.

85 nos of WS-Sticks were embedded securely into the lawn with an area of 375sqm. After 3 months of acclimatization, grass continued its healthy growth even with 30% (minimum) reduction of irrigation water.

With this pilot project result, the return of investment with WS-Stick is around 1.8years. Benefits of WS-Stick is not only about quick return of investment and reduced irrigation, but also to reduce water footprint and assist every drop of water work most of their value.

WS-Stick facilitates the transfer of moisture from the air to the soil to allow healthy plant growth with reduction in irrigation and water consumption.

The WS-Stick is made of steel that has been specifically modified with proprietary technology to change micro atomic structure of standard steel carrier material. After placing the WS-Stick 2m apart into the ground and

acclimatize for around 3 months, water irrigation can be reduced up to 50%.

Think of it as a magnetic stick. Once an iron stick is magnetized, it becomes a permanent magnet. Its magnetic field does all the work, no further consumption is required for it to function. Unlike magnets that attract iron and steel, WS-Stick attracts moisture from the air, supplying water to the soil.
